All I see in the inner structure is enables and input to outpuut wires. In case it’s the apparent lack of power to the chip that’s confusing you: What you put in one end comes out the other. Eminem – What makes you think the input is connected directly to the output? This is used in situations where any of several components can “drive” the bus though hopefully not more than one at a time.
